Rules for the 2014/2015 season

General

Every driver will get a special ETS T-shirt for their first event of the season. Every driver who participates in 5 or 6 races this season will get a special gift at the season finale.

Modified

Batteries:
ETS allows any hard case LiPo battery packs featuring the CE sign.
LiPo has to be charged in a special LiPo charging bag
Maximum battery voltage: 8.4 volts

Tires:
TBA
All wheels will be marked with special numbered stickers. Every driver gets 1 full sets of tires/wheels/inserts. At anytime, drivers can buy the second set of wheels, if they want. But two sets are the maximum for the whole weekend.

Additive:
Only special ETS additive is allowed. One bottle (30ml) is included in the driver’s entry fee and will be enough for the entire race-weekend. The additive will be handed out on Friday at the event.

Bodies:
190mm 4-door saloon bodies commercially available.

Car:
Maximum width without body = 190 mm
Maximum width with body = 200 mm
Minimum height with body = 115 mm
Minimum weight = 1350 grams including personal transponder

Entry fee Modified
70 Euro – including 1 set of tires and 1 bottle (30ml) of controlled additive.
The complete entry fee needs to be paid in advance via Bank Transfer.

Pro Stock

Motor for Pro Stock:
Much More Fleta 13.5 motor. No modifications allowed.
The rental fee for the motor is included in your race entry fee.

Motor-rules are as follows:
Motors are handed out in a raffle, meaning you will not receive the same motor at each race. Between races, we will check all used motors on a special motor tester guaranteeing that “your” motor has nearly same power as all motors. It is absolutely forbidden, to open the motors. Following the race the motors must be returned.

At the end of the season, every driver can buy a motor for a special price but quantities are limited.

Rental of Motor:
The rental fee for the Much More Fleta 13.5 motor is included in the Pro Stock entry.

Speed Control for Pro Stock:
Only Much More Fleta Euro ESCs (#MM-ME-FLEK) are allowed. No modifications are allowed. Much More Fleta Euro ESCs can be bought for a special ETS price of €60 per season.

Rental of Speed Control:
The Much More Fleta Euro ESC can be rented for €10 per race from ETS officials.

Entry fee Pro Stock
70 Euro – including 1 set of tires, 1 bottle (30ml) of controlled additive and motor rental.
The complete entry fee needs to be paid in advance via Bank Transfer.

Formula Class

Car:
Maximum width: 190mm
– Front independent king pin, coil spring suspension is allowed. Suspension pick up points must be mounted inside the body. Independent front shocks are not allowed.
– The main chassis plate must not protrude from the body when viewed from above
– Minimum weight = 1050 grams including personal transponder

Tires:
TBA

Bodies:
Only Formula 1 body styles are allowed.  Body must be painted in a race inspired theme. Single color themes are allowed but you must the included sticker sheet to detailed the car.
All cars must have a drivers figure installed in the cockpit.

F1 Wings:
Front and Rear wings must be made of a molded ABS Style plastic similar to a Tamiya Style wing. Front and rear wings made of Lexan material will not be allowed. This includes bolt on Lexan front wings over a smaller ABS plastic wing. Wings equipped with any type of remote adjustment or DRS are not allowed.

The use of a Gyro or other electronic driving aids are not allowed.

Hobbywing Xerun 21.5 fixed timing motors (#90040150). No modifications allowed.

Only Hobbywing Justock Club Spec ESCs (#81020000) are allowed. No modifications allowed apart from the wires (must stay the same size). This speedo can be bought for a special ETS-price of €40 per season.

Rental of Speed Control:
The Hobbywing Justock Club Spec speedo can be rented for €10 per race from ETS officials.

Entry fee Formula:
70 Euro – including 1 set of tires, 1 bottle (30ml) of controlled additive and motor rental.
1 set of tires costs €30 per set. You must use your included set of handout tyres at each event for which they are issued.  You are NOT allowed to re-use tyres from previous events.  The complete entry fee needs to be paid in advance via Bank Transfer.

Championship

If points are tied at the end of the championship we check who has more podiums 1st, 2nd, 3rd. If they are still tied then we will check who has more TQ’s. If still tied then we check who has more 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

We will never count a throw out round. But if you TQ a round and it ends up being a throw out round your TQ point will be added to your championship points total.
