2008 European Touring Series

Presenting the 2007/08 European Touring Series (ETS), a 4 round championship spread out over 8 months and covering 3 countries. The brainchild of top US promoter Scotty Ernst together with Uwe Rheinard from Germany, the series was created to help promote the sport of Touring car racing as well as provide the platform for racers to fine tune their skills in preperation for the important outdoor races in the summer. In its first full season, the opening round took place alongside the International Speed Weekend in Kasterlaun, Germany, while the following rounds see the series travel through Denmark, The Netherlands, Austria and then back to Germany for the season finale in Andernach.

Race Format
Meeting Format: Modified and Pro Stock classes
Timetable: Friday practice, Saturday 4 Rounds of Qualifying, Sunday 1 Round of Qualifying and 2/3 Leg Finals.
Modified: 5 Cell to EFRA Construction Rules. Control Indoor/Dry Tyre supplied.
Pro Stock: 5 or 6 Cell (according to local country rules) with Control Motor and Indoor/Dry Tyre supplied.

All race entries are handled through our partner BBK and their driver registration site, RC Race Control.
