Tamiyas top practice

Jilles Groskamp

The Tamiyas of Jilles Groskamp and John Bruins will carry the No.1 in the top Xenon Modified and Xray Pro Stock stock heats respectively after the Dutch pair set the fastest three consecutive laps in the final practice for the fifth round of the ETS at Apeldoorn. Former Champion Groskamp was one of the few top drivers to improve their 3-consecutive lap average in P4 setting a time of 15.586 with his Orion powered TRF417 to top current champion Marc Rheinard who along with Viktor Wilck, Ronakd Volker, Yannic Prumper and Cyril Ndiaye failed to improve their P3 times.

Christopher Krapp

Improving his average from 16.050 to 15.841 Team Kyoshos Christopher Krapp moved himself into the top heat as he ended practice with the seventh fastest time ahead of Austrias Thomas Pumpler who also found pace in P4.

Having struggled for straight line speed in early practice on a track where Xray driver David Ehrbar was clocked at 104kmh, Juho Levanen found some grunt but still only managed the 11th fastest time and misses out on running on the top heat to the Corally of Olivier Bultynck and Awesomatix of former ETS Top Qualifier Steen Graversen who in P3 set the 9th and 10th fastest times.

John Bruins

Pro Stock saw the Top 18 drivers record their fastest times in the final practice with Bruins outpacing P3 pace setter Vasco Christiaanses Kyosho by 8/100th as they broke into a 17 second average. Martin Hofer was again third ahead of Jens Kröger and the Top Qualifier in Poland Ivan Laptev.
