Remarks – Roche team driver Jacques Libar is running the Evo version of the Rapide, fitted with an aluminium chassis and long front suspension arms. His car also sports a new rear wing mount, designed by Jacques’ brother Laurent that fixes the wing to the chassis instead of the rear pod for improved overall stability, and an optional short rear pod.

Remarks – Having made the switch to the Awesomatix team at the beginning of the season, the young talent has dominated ProStock qualifying here in Vienna with his A800X Evo. Equipped with a set of long suspension arms conceived for high grip conditions, his car also features a pre-production aluminium chassis designed to work with the middle motor conversion that will be available just in the next days.

Remarks – Xray team driver Alexander Hagberg is using the latest 2019 version of the Slovakian brand’s T4 equipped with several option parts such as steel front outdrives, an aluminium “Flex” chassis, progressive front springs and 1.6mm top deck. Running his standard ETS setup, he said the biggest step forward was brought by the LCG LiPo pack that made his car noticeably quicker in direction changes thanks to the reduced roll.

Remarks – Sitting top of the times after two rounds of qualifying, former ETS Champion Marc Rheinard is running a pretty standard version of the Japanese Infinity IF14, the only option used being a lower shock tower. The Protoform Type-S has been the body of choice to take care of aerodynamics on his Muchmore powered car.

Remarks – New Team Schumacher signing Olly Jefferies is having his ETS debut with the British company’s Mi6 EVO. Having only raced it once last week with different tires, the Brit declared himself pretty happy with how his race started given the lack of experience. His car is equipped with a number of option parts, such as front double joint CVDs, an aluminium chassis and ultra-short shocks.

Remarks – TQ and winner at the opening round of ETS #10, Bruno Coelho was running the 2017 edition of the Slovakian made T4. His car is fitted with a front brass suspension mount and a brass motor mount plate so as to add weight to the very center of the chassis. Featuring ceramic bearing, the car is completed with a Hiro Seiko aluminium set screws, this being the debut race with the asian company for Bruno. In terms of electronics, an intensive testing session carried out with Hobbywing brought the Portuguese to opt for a smaller, 12.1mm rotor in his motor with this working perfectly on carpet together with the latest firmware version for the XR10 speedo.

Remarks – Serpent designer David Ehrbar took a convincing TQ & Win at the first round of ETS in Hrotovice driving the F110 SF3. His car, fitted with front and rear Serpent wings, features carbon electronics mounts and a new front suspension with more rigid lower arms and adjustable wheelbase. He is also using a prototype aluminium chassis.

Remarks – German ARC factory driver Lars Hoppe is running the 2017 version of the R11 here in Hrotovice. His example features low friction transmission parts, a pre-production aluminium chassis, hard plastic parts and harder, lightweight ball studs. Lars is also using an interesting servo, a result of the cooperation between ARC and Savox, that is mounted directly on the chassis thanks to a one-piece mount.
