ETS Warsaw – Moore confirmed

Following on from yesterdays announcement that Teemu Leino will participate at next months 3rd round of the ETS in Warsaw, Poland, comes the news that Andy Moore will also be participating in this great event. The former World and European Champion has raced at the Euro Touring Series before, most recently at the 2007/08 season finale that took place last summer in Andernach, Germany and is keen to come back for more action. The Hot Bodies driver joins an already World Class field of racers as the ETS makes its debut in Poland on the 6th – 8th of March.

ETS Warsaw – Leino confirmed

The organizers of the Much More backed European Touring Series, which sees its 3rd round of the 08/09 series take place in Warsaw Poland have confirmed that top Xray Factory team driver Teemu Leino has entered the event that takes place from the 6th – 8th of March. The Finnish driver will make his ETS debut in 2 weeks time and joins other top drivers like World Champion Marc Rheinard, Jilles Groskamp and Paul Lemieux, who is making the trip accross the Atlantic for the event.

ETS Warsaw – Lemieux confirmed

The organizers of the Much More backed European Touring Series, which sees its 3rd round of the 08/09 series take place in Warsaw Poland have confirmed that Top US driver Paul Lemieux has entered the event that takes place from the 6th – 8th of March. Paul, who has started out the 2009 Season with wins at the US Touring Car Championships and most recently the Snowbirds, is excited for the up coming event. When asked why he is attending the event Paul said “Modified Rubber tire racing is at the Top Level in Europe and I am looking forward to racing against some of the Top drivers in the world”. Paul made his first entry into the ETS last year when he attended the final event of the 2008 season in Andernach, Germany and achieved a podium finish.

European Touring Series – Round 1

European Touring Series - Round 1

Following the success of our inaugural year, the Euro Touring Series is back for another bigger and better season, incorporating some emerging countries along the way. The season will kick off next month, 10th-12th of October, in Kastellaun, Germany, before moving on to Hungary in December, Poland in March, Netherlands in May and back to Andernach in Germany for the season finale in July. Round 1 will be run in place of the well known Speed Weekend and has already attracted the cream of European racing with Jilles Groskamp, Marc Rheinard, Viktor Wilck, Steen Graversen, Jonas Kaerup, Christer Andersson, Hupo Hönigl and more having already confirmed their entry.

Entry closes on the 9th of October, but as a bonus for those that pay their entry fees prior to the 19th of September they will receive a great goodie bag containing lots of freebies from the event sponsors. As always the legendary Scotty Ernst will be doing the commentary, BBK will be handling the timing and Red RC will be reporting live from the event.

The organisers of the Much More backed European Touring Series, which sees its final round of the 07/08 series take place in Andernach Germany, have confirmed that former World Champion and 2008 Reedy Race winner Atsushi Hara will be coming to round 4 on the 27th – 29th of June. The Japanese racer will be joining other confirmed entrants, Marc Rheinard, Jilles Groskamp, Paul LeMieux, Hupo Honigl and many more.

ETS Andernach – LeMieux confirmed

The organisers of the Much More backed European Touring Series, which sees its final round of the 07/08 series take place in Andernach Germany, have confirmed that US superstar racer Paul LeMieux will be coming to round 4 on the 27th – 29th of June. Paul is looking forward to travelling to Europe to race against the some of the top drivers in the World, in order to help him prepare for the up coming World Championships later this year in Thailand. Paul is sponsored by US Xray and Hudy distributor RC America as well as Trinity, Protoform, Jaco and Futaba.

European Touring Series – Round 4

ETS Series

For the 4th and final round of the 2007/2008 Much More backed European Touring Series, the action moves to Germany and the Andernach track, close to Koblenz in the West of the country on the 27th – 29th of June. The organisers wanted to end this inaugural season with a big celebration, so as per the usual format, the racing will be open for Modified and Pro Stock classes, and this will be the main event, but as a sideshow and to create a relaxed party atmosphere there will be some side events for the competitors such as cage soccer or beach volleyball, or both. Along with having the best drivers from Europe participating, they are also expecting to have former World Champion Atsushi Hara as well as country mate Shin Adachi from Japan in attendance, and from the USA they are hoping to have top racer Paul LeMieux competing.

Pro Stock racers will receive the Speed Passion 9.5 Ultra Sportsman brushless motor included in their entry fee as well as 1 set of Much More control tires and a t-shirt, while Modified racers will also get the t-shirt as well as 2 sets of control tires. ETS Holland – Information update

Heemstede, The Netherlands

This weekends round 3 in the Netherlands is going ahead as usual and is looking to be a great race with some super quick drivers present and most importantly the weather is looking like it will be dry. The MACH track will be open all day Friday for practice, while for those racers that cant take time off on Friday and want to still race at this event, Saturday morning there is 2 more practice rounds before qualifying begins. The control tyre has also been confirmed for this weekends race and it will Much More Sweep 32 tyres with Sweep Pink insert mounted on Sweep Rims.
