Mod racers up the pace in final Qualifier Categories - Racing, Report , trackback
If the final qualifier is anything to go by it looks like we are in for some thrilling race action in the upcoming Modified A Finals here in Holland. Top Qualifier Jilles Groskamp posted the fastest 5 minute run of qualifying in the final round with over half the Mod runners posting their own personal TQ runs this morning.
Bart Wubben was on target to become the only driver to record a 19-lapper but ran out of power in the final minute of the run allowing Groskamp to post the fastest time from Hugo Van der Berg. Marc Rheinard finally cured his run time problem but has had to sacrifice outright speed, however despite this still the former World Champion still managed the fifth fastest overall run of the weekend and will start from 7th on the grid.
